Dry roasts dals really nice. My go to kadai for all sorts of vegetable cookings. Just that potato sticks to the bottom but the final taste is awesome. Curries taste as though I cooked on coal stove.

I love this tasla! It is versatile, robust and also pleasing to the eye. Retains the colour of the food cooked in it. Just remember to cook on low/medium heat as bronze tends to heat up fast due to the high copper content. Made a lovely blue coloured butterfly pea (sangu-pushpam) rice in it today. Sheer culinary joy!

Kansa has a high % of tin in the alloy itself. Acidic food can be stored/served for upto 4 hours without any adverse reaction from the copper in the alloy.

Casting Bronze (A traditional technique developed during Chola Dynasty) to the ratio of 78:22 Copper & Tin can be used for cooking and will not break.
What type of Food Can be Cooked? and how to maintain?
You can cook anything and everything. There are no restrictions. Also you can use any soap for regular cleaning. You can also clean them in dishwasher.
